Young People’s Creative Groups

Free, supportive creative spaces for young people aged 16–25.

Our Young People’s Creative Groups take place at the The Holburne Museum and offer fun, welcoming, creative spaces where people feel comfortable, building confidence, creativity and connection. We aim to create safer, non-judgemental spaces.

These groups are ideal for young people who would benefit from creative expression alongside gentle, structured support.

We currently offer:

  • Creative Minds: A group for young men and anyone identifying as male (16–25)
  • Make It New: A mixed group open to all young people (16–25)

Both groups are free to attend and no arts experience is necessary – just bring yourself!

What You’ll Do

In these groups, you will:

  • Try out new art techniques with experienced artists leading the sessions
  • Develop your creative skills at your own pace
  • Meet and connect with other young people
  • Receive wellbeing support from group support workers

The groups are supportive, inspiring and designed to help you grow in confidence — creatively and socially.

  • A safe and welcoming environment

What to Expect

  • Small group size (maximum 10 participants)
  • Support from both professional artists and support workers
  • Space to experiment, learn and express yourself

How to Get Involved

Because these groups run at different times throughout the year, dates are shared directly with interested participants and referrers.
