The Holburne

Set at the top of Great Pulteney Street, and surrounded by the leafy parkland of Sydney Gardens, the Holburne provides a truly breathtaking venue for your special day.

Our team is well versed in ensuring that your wedding day runs smoothly and we take pride in guaranteeing excellence. Whether you are looking to hold your ceremony, your evening reception or both, we will ensure that your day is an exquisite and memorable occasion.

Licensed for up to 100 guests, you can legally exchange your vows and rings and cement your partnership in beautiful style in our galleries.

Whether you are looking for a more intimate ceremony in the Ballroom with its stunning views of the magnificent Great Pulteney Street, or a larger more formal ceremony surrounded by our famous British portraits in the Picture Gallery, we can provide the perfect setting for your special day.

Wedding ceremonies can take place from 5.30pm only

Once you have exchanged your vows, you can don your dancing shoes and proceed down to the ground-floor Café and terrace for your evening reception. With wonderful views from the remarkable glass extension, this room is the perfect location to celebrate, dance and conclude your special day.

Working with our catering team you can decide to treat your guests to a Champagne reception, hot or cold buffets or perhaps you would prefer a more relaxed BBQ on our large Terrace. All our menus are freshly prepared and our in house catering team will work with you to design the perfect menu for your guests

If you have exchanged your vows in another of Bath’s amazing venues you can still book the Garden Café exclusively for your evening reception.
