University Engagement

Find out about our University Engagement programme at the Holburne and how you and your students can get involved.

We work with university and college tutors and students to offer real-world opportunities for creative practice, skills development and professional experience. In partnership with Bath Spa University, the University of Bath, and Bath College, students engage with live briefs, collections and exhibitions – creating, performing and showcasing work in a public context.

With creativity at our core, we support diverse talent, widen access to the cultural sector, and help students build confidence, wellbeing and career pathways through hands-on experience. Students also play an active role in museum life, from exhibitions and events to behind-the-scenes work.

We currently work with BA, MA and PhD students from Bath Spa University across Education, Art & Design, Dance, Heritage Management and Museum Studies, including research linked to our Pathways to Wellbeing programme.
