Inspired by Richard Slee’s Sunlit Uplands, enjoy a day of playful ceramic design led by Jo Taylor, winner of British Ceramics Biennial 2025.

Across the day, you’ll create your own colourful miniature ceramic ‘island’, inspired by Slee’s 2021 collection. With guidance from Jo, you’ll learn how to shape handmade and sprigged decorative details, building them up to create your own unique ceramic piece.

Expect a fun and immersive day of hands-on making. No previous ceramics experience is needed, just bring your creativity and curiosity!
