Join us in the Museum Garden for an afternoon of creative fun inspired by our current exhibition
Peter Blake: A Museum for Myself
In the garden we’ll be running workshops to create elephant masks and elephant feet, pop art biscuit decorating, badgemaking, face painting, an elephant trail and some pop-art themed games. Talullah Swirls will be here with her Susie Sparkle puppet show and there will be performances by Chinese Elvis (above) as well as magic from The Great Xa.
In addition you’ll find a bouncy castle and slide, popcorn, candy floss and fizzy pop, a 1960s fortune teller and Andy Warhol’s Factory in the Clore Learning Space for pop art t-shirt printing.
There will also be an Elvis look-a-like competition judged by Chinese Elvis.
(Please note there will be a small charge for some activities, such as the bouncy castle)
We are offering a half price family exhibition ticket to see Peter Blake: A Museum for Myself
