This FREE group provides a friendly and supportive space in which people can develop their arts skills, be creative and meet other people in a safe environment. All our projects take inspiration from our collection, exhibitions and site (and those of our partner Museums). We believe that high quality arts experiences stimulate engagement, learning and increased self-worth and work with professional, specialist artists to plan exciting courses exploring ceramics, printmaking, oil painting, enamelling, lantern making and much more!

We get involved in lots of different art projects and exhibitions in Bath and the local area (including Bath Fringe Arts Festival and exhibitions at Bath Artists’ Studios)

I remember when I came to my first art group at The Gardener’s Lodge after my return from hospital. I was feeling particularly vulnerable and shell-shocked. You and your team made me feel so welcome and though I said nothing, I thought I might be Ok and that maybe this was a safe space.” (a participants’ reflection).
