Flash, Bang, Pop! The title of Friday 25th April’s Up Late at Bath’s Holburne Museum says it all. The volunteer-led free* evening is inspirated by the Holburne’s sparkling trio of current special exhibitions, headlined by ICONIC, a photographically inspired portrait show by 1950s and ‘60s artistic luminaries.
Then quit the backward glance and look forward to the Holburne’s next exciting decade. Hear more about the new treasury-style lower ground floor gallery, currently under construction. Cast your vote on possible display options for the entrance lobby to the soon to be opened Schroder gallery, exclusively designed to display the family’s Renaissance treasures on permanent loan to the museum. A fabulous addition to our local cultural and artistic gem.
If you’re excited by what you hear, why not consider joining the Holburne as part of our expanding volunteer team or as a Holburne member? Full details for both will be available on the night (or on our website).
