Film screening: Almost Liverpool 8

Full of warmth and insight, ‘Almost Liverpool 8’ explores the people, history, and evolving identity of Liverpool’s Toxteth district.
Previously the subject of iconic photographs by Don McCullin, a group of filmmakers explore the neighbourhood 50 years later. Featuring the various communities in Toxteth, or ‘L8’, the film weaves together the everyday lives of residents to create a sensitive portrait of a postcode and its people.
Complementing the Don McCullin ‘Broken Beauty’ exhibition at the Holburne Museum, ‘Almost Liverpool 8’ is a touching reflection on resilience, creativity, and cultural diversity
Ticket includes entry to Don McCullin exhibition which will be open 6pm – 7pm
The Holburne cafe will also be open 6pm – 7pm
