Building works at the Holburne

We’re embarking on a significant redevelopment, creating new galleries and other public spaces for the Museum.

The building work involves converting archive and picture stores on the lower ground floor, underneath the Cafe.

These works have already begun, and we’re aiming to open the new Schroder Gallery in Summer 2025.

We will remain open throughout this time, and aim to minimise any disruption for visitors.

• Toilets
  From November 2024 until Spring 2025, temporary toilets will be installed next to the Museum on the Ground Floor.
  The accessible toilet on the Ground Floor will remain open to all.
• Café
  From November 2024 until Spring 2025, our catering team will be working from a temporary kitchen. We will continue to offer a range of pastries, sandwiches, soup and snacks each day.
