Capture and Caption: Explore the Museum after hours

Second-year students from the BA (Hons) Creative Arts Practice programme at Bath Spa University are taking over the museum for November’s ‘Up Late’.

Throughout the evening, students will use the Museum as a site of creative enquiry, responding to its collections, spaces, and stories through a series of live, temporary installations, artistic interventions and participatory activities.

Visitors are invited to look more closely, uncover hidden narratives, and discover unexpected connections within the Museum. Through acts of observation, interpretation and participation, Capture and Caption offers new ways of seeing, experiencing and engaging with the Holburne and its collection.

We will also be hosting two film screenings, offering perspectives on our current exhibition Ancient Landscape, Modern Times: Eric Ravilious and the Artists of the Chalk Downs.
