The Holburne Museum is proud to present its annual 2026 Partner Schools Summer exhibition, celebrating the creativity and talent of pupils from local schools across Bath and Somerset.
Now on display in the Museum’s Clore Learning Space, the exhibition features artwork created by pupils from St Philip’s Primary School, St Michael’s Junior School, Paulton Junior School, Three Ways School and Widcombe Junior School.
This year’s theme, ‘Make Your Mark’, invited pupils to explore mark making as an artistic technique while also encouraging them to think about the impact they can have on the world around them. The resulting exhibition showcases a wide variety of imaginative and personal responses, demonstrating the creativity, confidence and artistic skills of local young people.
Included in the exhibition is a colourful display by pupils from Widcombe Junior School, stemming from a visit to the Holburne’s Zandra Rhodes: A Life in Print exhibition earlier this year. Artworks were created during the school’s Zandra Rhodes-themed Art Week, the display reflects the bold patterns, vibrant colours and expressive style for which Rhodes is celebrated.
The 2026 Partner Schools Summer exhibition is free to view in the Clore Learning Space over the next two weekends and offers a wonderful opportunity for families, friends and visitors to discover the artistic achievements of local schoolchildren.
Whether you’re looking for family activities in Bath or planning a visit to the Holburne Museum, be sure to stop by and support the next generation of artists as they share their creativity and show how they have chosen to make their mark!
