This was a Heritage Lottery Funded project that focused on bringing the local community together in the build-up to the re-opening of the Holburne Museum. It was an intergenerational oral history project designed to conserve and showcase the history of Bathwick, Sydney Gardens and the Holburne across 60 years. The results have been captured in an interactive display at the Museum.
As part of the project pupils of St Marks School, Chippenham College and Bath Spa University with support from Emma Dunn and Suited & Booted ran two ‘pop-up’ filming days. Members of the public were asked to speak about their memories of Bathwick and their thoughts about the Holburne Museum. The results can be viewed on the Holburne’s YouTube Channel.
