The Holburne Museum is an independent charity that receives no regular central or local government funding. Every donation, grant, business sponsorship and membership subscription helps us to change lives through art, care for our collection and deliver our activities.
On top of our annual fundraising, from time to time we launch one-off campaigns to fund specific projects such as acquisitions and education projects. The most significant campaign the Museum ever launched was our highly successful £11.2 million development that restored our Grade I Listed building and created Eric Parry’s stunning modern extension. We are currently raising funds to support the Museum’s future.
