A Garden Love Story is a beautifully illustrated book, that tells the story of a remarkable house and its gardens, Belcombe Court, tracing their history and following the rhythm of the seasons as they flourish throughout the year. Filmmaker Paul Weiland and his wife Caroline have transformed the historic estate and former clothier’s house into a beautiful garden blending 18th century charm with contemporary elegance.

Belcombe Court is set within 60 acres of parkland, it’s neo-classical, picturesque-style grounds reveal a world of discovery including fern-filled courtyards, gothic archways and even a hidden grotto. Once overgrown and fallen into disrepair, this is the story of Paul’s extraordinary 30-year journey to lovingly restore the land to its Georgian grandeur. With patience, passion and a director’s eye, he has transformed the estate into a garden where history, imagination and horticulture flourish side by side.
