The Holburne Museum is a registered charity (no. 310288), one of the UK’s leading independent museums and Bath’s flagship visual arts organisation. We have been a part of Bath’s cultural heritage since our founding in 1882, exhibiting some of the world’s most renowned artists including Francis Bacon, J.M.W. Turner and Lubaina Himid. Today, we welcome over 100,000 visitors annually from the South West and beyond, using our nationally recognised collection of 18th/19th century works, ambitious exhibitions and unparalleled historic setting to Change Lives Through Art.

Each year we are reliant on the generous support of our funders to deliver our charitable activities and further our objective of making the Holburne an open, welcoming, inspiring and empowering place for everyone. It is thanks to the generous grants of local, national and family trusts that we are able to deliver our annual exhibitions programme, vital community outreach activities, and to conserve our beautiful collection and Grade-1 listed building.

We are always delighted to hear from any grant-making organisations that are interested in supporting our work. If you’re interested in hearing more about our existing programmes or upcoming projects, please find more information at the links below, or contact our Development Officer, Arthur Warburton on 01225 388564 or a.warburton@holburne.org.
