The Holburne Patrons and Director’s Circle Members play an essential role in the life of our Museum. As an independent museum that receives no regular public subsidy, it is entirely thanks to our close family of supporters that we can survive as an independent charitable organisation and achieve our aim of Changing Lives Through Art to the very fullest.

Patrons are integral to the Holburne’s long-term survival and our continued success as the South West’s leading independent museum.

Giving at this level allows us to continue staging world-class exhibitions year-round, maintaining our position as a museum of national significance. In recognition of their support, Holburne Patrons receive the following benefits throughout the year:

• Unlimited free entry for two
• VIP access to Private Views
• Access to exclusive trips and events
• Our annual Summer Party
• Regular supporters’ newsletters
• A 10% discount in our shop and Café
• Acknowledgement of your support on our website

Patronage begins at £600 annually, including a £150 subscription fee representing the value of the benefits*.

Director’s Circle

Director’s Circle membership is for those who wish to enjoy an even closer relationship with our Director and the wider Holburne team, providing a significant annual gift which allows us to plan strategically for the future.

Such generous support enables us to not only deliver our ambitious exhibitions programme, but also to maintain our beautiful Grade-1 listed building and to engage with Bath’s communities through our Creative Learning & Engagement activities. In addition to Patrons’ benefits, Director’s Circle members enjoy:

• Our annual Director’s Circle Dinner
• Complimentary exhibition catalogues (where applicable)
• Access to exhibition lunches/suppers
• Discounted private hire of our galleries and Garden Café

Director’s Circle membership begins at £3,000 annually, including a £270 subscription fee representing the value of the benefits*.

Each scheme’s respective benefits can be purchased separately at the relevant price and the remaining amounts are given freely as a voluntary donation.
