General Admission Prices

There is an admission charge to visit our collections, displays and exhibitions.

We are a charity and if you are a UK taxpayer and pay Gift Aid on your ticket, we can reclaim 25% on the whole ticket price, which raises valuable funds for the museum.

  • Full Price £12.50 (including Gift Aid donation) £11 (without donation)
  • Concessions: £7 (including Gift Aid donation) £5.50 (without donation)

You can either book in advance online, or buy tickets on arrival at the Museum

Tickets are valid for the whole day and are not timed.
Opening hours: 10am – 5pm daily; 11am – 5pm Sundays and bank holidays.
Last admission 4.30pm

Free Entry for:
18 and under / Friends and Patrons of the Holburne Museum / Students & Staff of University of Bath and Bath Spa University/ Adults accompanying a disabled visitor.

Wednesday from 3pm
Anyone can visit our Collection galleries for free on Wednesday afternoons (reduced entry of £7 for temporary exhibitions)

 

Calm Sensory Sessions:

Calm Sensory Sessions have been created with neurodivergent children, families and adults in mind who may benefit from visiting the museum in a calmer and quieter period. We are trialing this new offer on the following dates –

Thursday 20th June   3.30 – 5pm

Thursday 25th July  3.30 – 5pm

Thursday 15th August  9 – 10am

Friends Membership
By purchasing an annual Friends Membership, you can visit the museum for free throughout the year and enjoy our inspiring displays as many times as you like!

Terms & Conditions

  • Please note that when you buy a concession ticket on line proof of your eligibility will be required on collection of tickets or at point of entry to the venue.
  • The Holburne Museum reserves the right to change or cancel events at any time.
  • All Event tickets are non-refundable. If an event sells out we will offer your tickets for re-sell. If we are able to re sale your tickets there will be a resale admin fee charged of £2 per ticket.
  • General Admission tickets can be changed to another date of you choosing.
  • The maximum number of tickets that can be purchased per event / exhibition is 10.
  • All on line transactions will be subject to a £2 booking fee.

Terms & Conditions Of Membership

  • All prices for Friends Membership are annual payments in £ sterling. You can see the benefits provided to Friends on our website at https://www.holburne.org/support-us/friends-of-the-holburne-museum-2/.
  • Your Membership will last until for a full calendar year from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated. Upon the expiry of your membership, you may renew for subsequent periods of one year and you acknowledge that the price for Membership may increase and the terms change.
  • Memberships are non-transferable so that only membership recipients can enjoy the benefits of being a Friend.
  • Friends are granted free entry by stating their full name and postcode at the front desk, where our Visitor Services Team will be able to verify the membership status with our admissions system. Additional identification for admittance may be required on occasion.
