The Frank Brown Concert

Join Nathaniel Mander and Sam Brown in our annual celebration of Frank Brown’s contribution to the Holburne.
Nathaniel Mander and Sam Brown present an evening of music in the Picture Gallery. We are thrilled to welcome back Nat, a virtuoso harpsichordist, and his partner the lutenist Sam Brown. For the past five years they have presented different artists to form a ‘Holburne Ensemble’. This year they are joined by Charlotte La Thrope and Sergio Bucheli.
English soprano Charlotte La Thrope graduated with first class honours in music from the University of Durham, majoring in performance and receiving ‘The Most Outstanding Soloist Award’ in her final year. She is now a scholar at the Royal Academy of Music. Sergio Bucheli is originally from Mexico, and studied the guitar at the Yehudi Menuhin School thanks to a bursary awarded by The Rolling Stones. Since September 2016, Sergio, a keen chamber musician, has been dedicated to full time study of the lute family as a post graduate at the Royal Academy of Music.
Ticket price include a buffet supper after the concert in the Garden Café, an excellent opportunity to meet fellow Patrons, Friends, and music lovers.
