An opportunity for GCSE and A level Art students and young people interested in exploring art to focus on specialist techniques in a friendly, small group environment. All classes are taught by expert artists.
Painting Self-Portraits in Acrylics
Paint your own self-portrait using acrylics. The work will be informed by looking at the Holburne’s collection of portraits, including a 19th century portrait of African-American actor Ira Aldridge on loan from the National Portrait Gallery. You will learn about face proportions, skin tones and using different brushes for a range of mark-making.
Maximum 12 places
Led by Fiona Campbell whose work encompasses drawing, painting, sculpture and installation, with over 25 years’ experience of teaching art.
If you are booking the day before an Art Masterclass:
- Please ensure that you attend at workshop drop off with your young person in order to complete a Consent Form.
- Please also note before booking that your young person will not be supervised at lunch time.
