Adult Workshop: Drypoint & Monoprint with Penny Grist

Inspired by our temporary exhibitions, Rembrandt in Print and Matisse: Master of Line this workshop will teach you how to make a Drypoint print. You will be taught how to draw and mark-make on soft metal plate using specialist tools, inks, chine collé and print on the portable press brought in for the workshop. There will also be the opportunity to experiment with mono-printing using paper stencils, collage and colour inks. All materials will be provided.
Penny Grist is an artist and printmaker with over 30 years’ experience of teaching and running workshops. She teaches printmaking at Bath Spa University where she is an associate lecturer.
